One side journaled.

Happy Mail, Journal Pages, and Shopping Adventures

Earlier this week I got my first Happy Mail package! Eeeeeh! Sandy was assigned to me this month. :) Check out all my cool stuff! Two of my FAVORITE glue sticks (This is a BIG deal! They can be hard to find!), cute little cards with fortunes inside, an awesome ATC, and the cutest little brag book! I was excited to see the green polka dotted envelope too!

I keep opening it, loading it back up and opening it again. :) Some day I will put all the goodies away but it won't be today. :)

Two journal pages today...

Look...I wrote on a transparency with a Gelly Roll Glaze pen! LOVE it!

I'm hopeing to get at least one more done before I leave to go to my staff end of the year party.

I grabbed my mom this morning and went to Hobby Lobby and a newer store (1st time I've been) called Crop Girls. I had fun and found lots of things I didn't need but WANTED! ;)

Journal, Journal, Journal

More Journal pages today. :)

I ran to Joann today and found some great new stickers. I usually don't look at the stickers so imagine my surprise when I found so many I could not live without. The best part is that they were all 40% off!

A few posts ago I mentioned that I re-sorted my sticker and rub-on stash boy was that a smart move. I have been having so much fun using them in my journal. The best part is that I made a bag of all the loose stickers and paper bits and have been having fun trying to use them first. I am also shocked how often I am able to use the bits of decorative paper that I grouped all together last weekend. The moral of this story is that organization pays off. :)

The Beginning Of Something Amazing

I started my new journal today! I love it even more! It has lots of layers and tricks too! I'm already unsure how it is ever going to "close"! Here's the first page...notice how you can see the smaller pages sticking out from underneath it.

Then you turn the page...

I sewed one of my swatches books into the flap...

and hid a page underneath that too!

I love it! It is a little confusing to see how it all works I know but sooo cool in person!

I used my Gelly Roll Glaze pens to write on tape today! I am way behind on this one. Kelly pointed out that Gelly Roll Glaze and Souffle can write on everything even glass last weekend when she was here. I was AMAZED how great it worked! Tomorrow I'm taking on writing on Transparency! :)

Today

Today I spent the whole morning "cleaning" my desk. See the problem with me cleaning my desk is that it requires that I do lots of little projects that are half finished like pages for a swap, carving uncarved stamps, and reorganizing all of my rub-ons and stickers. :)

By four I was off with Ayesha and Deb for pedicures. Next, Ayesha and I had dinner and then journaled together while we planned our first journaling outing. (Ayesha has agreed to go with me to journal in public. I don't know why I just can't go by myself but it will be fun if we go together.) I worked on my May pages and finished my current journal! (Insert fanfair!) Here are the pages...

While I was cleaning today I found some colored masking tape I had stashed away! Go figure...

I am finally done with my April Prompt A Day Prompts. :) I LOVE A Prompt A Day even when I get behind. :)

Can you believe it is already time to sign up for June? It's on my list this weekend. :)

By Special Request

I made this cute little monster for Kakes yesterday by special request. (She's only two and has really great taste!)

Kakes usually prefers dolls to stuffed animals but when she saw my skeletons she kept saying Nene? and hugging them really close. Somehow she just knew I had made them.

I told her I had to keep the skeleton she was hugging but asked her if she wanted me to make one for her. She said, "Yes." I asked her if she wanted a skeleton or a monster and she said, "Monster Nene". I asked her what color it should be, she said, "Red". I asked how many eyes it should have, she said, "One". I asked what color eye it should have, she said, "Nene eye." Buffy said, "Kakes, Nene's eyes are blue. What color eye should your monster have?" She said, "Blue, Nene Eye" I HAD to add the veil to the monster because she was playing Peek-a-boo with the bride skeleton and it was too cute! I will be able to deliver the monster to her this weekend. I just hope she likes how it turned out. :)

I can't wait for Baby Q to start talking too! I'm sure I won't be able to handle all the cuteness!

I'm In Love

I'm in love with my final Journal form Kelly weekend!

The only trouble with Kelly weekends is
1. They end
2. You are left with the difficult task of which journal you are going to work in first!

This weekend was amazing!

A Kelly Weekend Update

Yesterday I made this great triptych book... (It will totally be my next journal!)

and worked in little swatches books too!

When I got home I worked on a few pages in my journal but when I ran into white pages I had to stop because I left my paint brushes at Frenzy so I started sorting my paper scraps instead. :) I love Kelly Weekends!
