Last night Ayesha and I left school and headed to Wholesale Fashion Shoes, this great new shoe store where all shoes are $9.88! I actually bought a pair of flip flops too that were only $5.88 too. It is at 44th Street & Thomas but is worth the trip!
Next we had a quick and fun dinner at the bar of Postino's. If you have never eaten bruschetta at Postino's you MUST put it on your to do list!
Finally we headed to Frances to take a cool finger knitting class. Francis is a super cool place to take a class they set up small tables all cute with colorful table cloths and serve wine, cheese, and cute cookies. It was so cute. I guess I should mention that this is the only art class that I have ever taken that didn't involve paint or fire so that could have something to do with the cute set up but I would definitely take a class at Francis again!
I didn't really understand the whole fingerkniting thing (I was jus trying crazy knots) until the last 5 minutes of class so I brought my scarf home to finish with more time. I promised our teacher I would be happier if I had time to finish at home as opposed to having a super thin scarf. Of course in true Jeane style I could not move on to anything else until I was finished. :) I do love the way it turned out and can't wait for it to get out of the 90's (Yes, in November) so I can wear it! Please excuse the cheesy self-inflicted photo. :)

Cute scarf!
Oh, wow!!! I looove the scarf, Jeane! That class sounds awesome! I would love to drink wine while learning finger-knitting. Wish we had stuff like that around here. And that shoe store???? Oh my goodness!!! Awesome day, girl!
It was a great Friday night. I love our dates! Today (Sunday) was also too fun. I heart you, Feisty Frizzell!
