Time Flies... (& Charm Braclets In Etsy!)

Wow a week already...where does the time go??? It was a crazy week! I did make time to journal this week.
I love holding my journal in my hands! it is amazing that that many art pieces can fit all in one place!

I have added charm bracelets to my etsy shop! Click on the right and take a look! (I will make them with the words of your choice! You know you want one!) I plan to add a few more fun things very soon so keep an eye out. :)

Lookie, Lookie

Look what happened when I was making necklaces this afternoon! I love these bracelets!

Back to the idea of inspiration... one of my friends at school, who does not read my blog, is having her birthday on Friday. I wanted to make her something special and she has mentioned wanting a bracelet to match her necklace and earrings. Voila! The bracelet was born! (Sssh! if you work with me and know who I'm talking about. :)

Lazy

I've been so lazy this weekend. Being back to work means being with LOTS of germs. I've been fighting a cold and don't have much of a voice.

Friday Buffy, Sarah, Deb, Ayesha, and I all went to Lets Do Dinner, a cool meal prep place. It was fun to hang out and I love having all my dinners ready to go in my freezer. I get so excited about them that I actually eat at home instead of wanting to eating out. Tonight we are having Grilled Peanut Ginger Pork Tenderloin. I can't wait!

Yesterday I went shopping and hung out with Buffy and Kakes and today I have been doing house chores v e r y s l o w l y.

The good news is I did work in my journal this weekend!

Now I'm off to make a few necklaces for people at school and doing laundry would be helpful too! :)

I love My Journal!

I am having so much fun doing Kelly's Prompt A Day class! It is actually a painting promt, a collage prompt, and a journaling prompt a day! I am using a journal that already has painted pages but I plan to use the painting prompt in another journal. :) These are my pages from the 4th untill today.

I'm obviously on a female focal image kick. :)

It's been a busy necklaces week! I sold four necklaces on etsy and another four at school. It's fun to know other people like your artwork enough to pay for it. :)

Introducing....

My Etsy shop! I finally decided last night to start an Etsy shop and see what happens. You will always be able to find my shop easily from my blog just click the pictures on the right and it will take you there. :)

Also, you may have noticed my banner changed today. Jim helped me make a banner for my Etsy shop last night and I decided to use it for my blog as well. I love it and it will help keep things easier if I have less names for things:)

Trying To Get Back In The Swing Of Things

I always forget how hard it is to get serious about work after being on break. I had big expectations about getting all of my school work done today before lunch time. HA! (When I wait until Sunday to do all of my "vacation work" I am always pouty.) I always forget how long it takes to write lesson plans after a break and trying to figure out my "to do" list from two weeks ago is a little tricky too. :)

I did work until lunch time but then I had lunch plans with Amber, needed to get to the post office, and heard my journal and the internet calling. Maybe I'll get back to school work later this evening, MAYBE!

I made these arty little necklaces last night.

And here are my journal pages for today and tomorrow. :) What can I say, I got excited and the prompt was posted. :) Plus once school starts I know it will be more difficult to keep up so I'm taking advantage of my time now. My journaling is a little tricky to read and I like that. It's more secrative but adds great texture to the collages.

Behold

Behold the beauty that is my first journal page of the new year.

I know that I'm cheesy but I am also having a ton of fun with Kelly on Prompt A Day! I woke up this morning dreaming about art. I need to be working on a project today. :)
